Communion and Divorced and remarried
According to the Tradition of the Catholic Church, the divorced and remarried may not be admitted to Holy Communion, being in a position to objectively contrary to the Word of God that has brought the marriage to the original value of indissolubility.
This concept was recently reaffirmed by the Synod of Bishops and the contents of one of the propositions submitted to Pope for consideration in the development of the Post-Synodal Apostolic Exhortation.
